Care Instructions

Your plants will arrive by truck to your home address. In the event that there are box trees larger than 24", you must have a suitable piece of equipment that can handle this load. Once you have stockpiled your order, the material needs to be watered immediately to prevent further stress. During summer months it is recommended that prior to planting, water daily. During cooler months, less frequently is acceptable. Try to install the material as soon as possible. This will eliminate the chance of drying out, damage or theft. It is important to build a soil berm or basin around each plant and water immediately after backfilling around the rootball. 90% of newly installed plant failure is due to improper handling and initial watering. Be kind to your plants initially and they will get adapted quickly to their new surroundings and they will become vigorous and healthy. For more information, see the tree and shrub planting guide.
